Review: Bad Moms

Amy Mitchell (Mila Kunis) had her kids when she was young. Now twelve years later the only thing she's good at, is being late. She finds her husband Mike cheating on her through internet and trows him out. But also tries to make everything work.

After a very stressful day, she publicly quits the PTA when Gwendolyn (Christina Applegate) the PTA President orders outlandish restrictions for the bake sale and forces Amy to bake. After that she decides that she needs a drink. There she meets Carla (Kathryn Hahn), a less caring and oversexed mom and Kiki (Kristen Bell), mother of four who is submissive to her husband.

The trio has quite a few drinks and her new found friends inspire her to be more laid back with the kids. She lets the make their own breakfast, drives Mike's classic car instead of the minivan, gives the lunch from Arby's and takes a few days off.

But just as she thinks that her life got easier, life kicks her in her ass.
She gets fired from her job, Gwendolyn benches Amy's daughter and her son is angry at her because he has to do his own homework.

The story focuses mostly on being a mother and how hard it can be, but also on the aspect of  "More isn't better" and that we should enjoy our lives and not run though it like a crazy person. The acting and comedy of the ladies was great and you just can't but help to root for their characters.

Rating: 4.5/5.0
The movie was a bit predictable and mostly targeting women.

It's a great movie to go see with your girlfriends or mom in the cinema. If you want to see it with a guy then I would recommend to see it at home.

Have you seen the movie? If you did, let me know in the comments below what you think of it :)
